Small jewel in desert. Its mostly seasonal winter long term stays 55 plus. But they do cater to overnighters and its well worth the stop. Pool is very small. Hosts are very friendly folks. Its easy access from I-40 but far enough away to be quiet. Sites are landscaped so you don't see next person.
I have not been to this park in 5 years, but have camped here since 1990. The new owners have made vast improvements, and this is now a great campground. They have added city water and made the sites much more convenient. Attitude of employees is outstanding. They serve a breakfast, free newspaper, and FREE WiFi! This is a change from the typical KOA which nickles and dimes you to death.
Adequate park for overnight stop. Good Wifi. This was the fastest checkin I have ever experience. Gave her my GoodSam card and I was registered. Paid and drove to site. There is a new Flying J very close by.
This is typical KOA. Lots of campfires and smoke. It was packed even with many people, like in tents per RV site. WiFi was all by unusable. Just a bit usable very early in AM but after forget it. Its expensive, but they have plenty of business.
